Vacancies of three technical consultants one each from the field of agronomy / livestock / socio-economics

NABARD, with the support of KfW Germany, has taken responsibility of Indo-German Watershed Development Projects in Rajasthan and Gujarat. The districts of Sabarkantha, Dahod, Panchmahal and Vadodara in Gujarat and Udaipur, Dungapur, Banswara and Chittogarh Districtsin Rajasthan will be covered under this Project. The operational responsibility of the programme implementation of all programme activities shall rest with the Programme Management Unit (PMU), to be established especially for the project. The PMU shall be headed by a full time senior officer from NABARD and it shall also consist of three technical consultants each one from the field of agronomy / livestock / socio-economics. The good knowledge of micro finance and agrostology (pasture specialisation) will be added advantage. NABARD has asked Cohesion Foundation Trust to engage the services of the technical consultants in the above field and placing their services with the (PMU) to which the latter agreed and expressed its desire to extend its full support in the implementation of the above project. The Trust shall select three technical consultants one each from the field of agronomy / livestock / socio-economics with good knowledge of micro finance and agrostology (pasture specialist) in consultation with NABARD and they will be placed with PMU. The consultants so selected and engaged by the Trust will work exclusively in the identified districts in Gujarat and Rajasthan. They will be based at Dahod or any other location as may be decided by the Trust with approval of NABARD. The selected consultants will work under guidance and supervision of Head of the PMU. Their performance will be reviewed on half-yearly basis for the period ending 30 September and 31 March every year by PMU. After completion of initial six months service, if the review reveals that services of the consultant/s is/are found to be not satisfactory/not up to the mark by PMU, his/their engagement shall be terminated forthwith by the trust The consultants will be paid professional fees and other expenses as may be decided by Trust with approval of NABARD. Tax deductions will be as per Government norms. The fee will be decided based on the qualifications and experience.
