Jan-26th and Jan 27th were probably two special days of lives of most of you who had turned up for the Mega-Reunion.
Milaap08 witnessed 90+ alumni on the campus with enthusiasm bubbling like what possibly you all used to have during your PRM days. Whether it was intellectual thought sharing during panel discussion, mock-performance on stage with current batches, or basketball match at the ground( where one alumnus got hand fractured - i am pretty sure pain of fracture was no where compared to the enjoyment of reliving past) it appeared as if family members of the greater fraternity got
together.
Discussions went on during Lunch and Dinner, someone suddenly recalling some batch mate on whom some joke used to be cracked often, people calling each other by their nick-names and all sort of fun which probably so-called seniority and age prevented them from doing so was on in full swing in ETDC lawns.
One incident which we touched me most was a conversation of two kids in one of the fun-stalls.
It was an event where glasses were kept in pyramidal form and objective was to hit them with ball and scatter all the glasses. Younger Kid [about 7-8 years] tried two or three time but couldn't dismantle the lower layer and same thing happened with the elder one [i guess around 12 years], both of them sat disappointed after this. Younger one told "Bhaiya u know they stick the lower layer with glue, so it never falls". Elder one thought for a while and replied him back "Yaar it might be true but my father told that in IRMA people never cheat, IRMAN's are very responsible".
Awesome!!! Statement touched me- If an elderly person says one may presume he may be pretending but when a child says such words--they are from the innocent Heart.
Workshop on IRMA-2025 on second day, was a great brainstorming session where Prof. Tushar Shah, Prof. Arul, Prof. Uma Jain and many other faculty members graced the occasion. Several issues were discussed, debated and the discussion was facilitated by Prof. Tushar, Prof, Raju and Prof. Madhavi. I am pretty sure it brought back the reminiscences of the MAC-group assignments but with a difference that Prof's were not doing grading this time!!!!
Informal discussion aftermath was again a very lively period. Prof. Arul with some of the Alumni [ who were then his students] shared how he used to grade, made them prepare for class discussions and all..We could very clearly see Alumni in deep thought about the class sessions and exams and last moment assignment preparations.
Well each and every moment was unforgettable but i guess mail has already consumed your lot of time. Will conclude it with a generous word of thanks .
