BDT Case Study-Put All Eggs In One Basket!!!!!! !!!!!!!!! !
Dear Friends,
I am sending you all a case study of visible change that we have experienced over last five month of microfinance experience.
We are raising funds from funding agencies. Currently every one is testing waters with us and giving us in small tranches. But we feel that individuals need to continuously support us financially. We need individuals like you to support us financially even in small amount like Rs 5000/10000/20000.
The amount will be returned after 12 months. Its totally based on trust. I got support from 40 people who believed in us and helped us to stand up. We are slowly slowly gathering pace.
a small beginning
Dear friends,
Greetings
Yesterday Bihar development Trust made a small beginning by holding a small programme on voter awareness and local governance in Bhagalpur. The municipal corporation elections are going to be held on 26th may 2006. The basic agenda was to make the common voter aware about their rights and make them knowledgeable about what happens or in other words what ought to happen in a municipal corporation and how can they exercise their voice even after the candidates are elected. There were around 200 people collected in a local ground. Other agenda was to provide a platform where the candidates and voters can come together and discuss the local issues and voters know the views of their candidates in developing their wards. 5 candidates of the ward also came and presented their agenda for next five years.
