After completing his basic degree in Economics, Ashutosh Dikshit (PRM 4) joined IRMA in 1983. He was one among the top 5 who graduated from IRMA in 1985. Ashutosh joined the Madhya Pradesh Dugdh Mahasangh and looked after their marketing functions at Ujjain. In 1988, with an all India rank of 134 in the Civil Services Exam, he joined the Indian Revenue Service. He received a scholarship from the World Bank (WBJJ Scholarship) in 1999 to complete a Masters programme at Columbia University. In 2004, he took over as the Personal Secretary to the Cabinet Minister for Panchayati Raj and has just been (2007) promoted to the rank of Commissioner of Income Tax
