R.S. Sodhi is Amul MD
Mr R.S. Sodhi has been appointed as Managing Director of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), Anand, India's largest food company with annual turnover of nearly Rs 9,000 crore. GCMMF markets the famous Amul brand of milk, milk products and other food items.
An alumni of the first batch of the Institute of Rural Management-Anand (IRMA), the 52-year-old Mr Sodhi has been associated with GCMMF for the last 29 years. He holds an engineering degree in agriculture from Udaipur, Rajasthan. Mr Sodhi, in-charge MD of the federation for the past seven months, succeeding Mr B.M. Vyas.
Ashutosh Dixit
After completing his basic degree in Economics, Ashutosh Dikshit (PRM 4) joined IRMA in 1983. He was one among the top 5 who graduated from IRMA in 1985. Ashutosh joined the Madhya Pradesh Dugdh Mahasangh and looked after their marketing functions at Ujjain. In 1988, with an all India rank of 134 in the Civil Services Exam, he joined the Indian Revenue Service. He received a scholarship from the World Bank (WBJJ Scholarship) in 1999 to complete a Masters programme at Columbia University.
Charkha by Sanjoy Ghosh
Set up on the 24th of October, 1994 Charkha a voluntary, non-government organisation was born with the realisation that developmental issues pertaining to rural India were not receiving adequate coverage in mainline media.
Through the use of various tools of communication, Charkha serves as a dynamic link between grassroots activists, rural India, NGOs, and the mainstream media. It is a Charkha priority that constructive and positive aspects of all developmental work are duly covered by both national and regional media. Charkha focuses attention on the underprivileged and marginalised whose cause is often overlooked and whose voice remains unheard.
Founder
Born in 1959 at Nagpur, Sanjoy Ghose (PRM 1) spent his childhood in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

On July 4, 1997, Sanjoy was abducted from the riverine island of Majuli, by ULFA militants. He was never to be found again.
